Founding Editor & President

G. K. Allum founded Ink & Ribbon Press as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit publisher on Bainbridge Island, Washington. He leads all editorial, strategic, and operational functions of the press, and works directly with each poet through the full arc of publication. He is completing an MFA in poetry at Pacific University under the advisorship of Leila Chatti. His own manuscript, The Familiarity, has been in correspondence with editors including Michael Schmidt at PN Review and Carcanet. He is also the primary author of The Poetry Library, and writes across all its sections.

The Poetry Library is open to contributors who write seriously about poetry — poets, critics, academics, and careful readers. All pieces are reviewed editorially before publication. Contributors receive a permanent author profile and byline credit on every piece they publish with us.
