About
Risa Denenberg lives on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State, where she works as a nurse practitioner. She is a co-founder of Headmistress Press, a publisher of poetry by lesbian-identified women, and curator at The Poetry Café Online, a space where poetry chapbooks are reviewed. She has published eight collections of poetry, most recently Rain/Dweller (MoonPath Press, 2023), and is at work on a memoir, I’ll Look for You at Moonrise. She is a contributor to The Poetry Library at Ink & Ribbon Press, where she writes a monthly review of poetry collections and chapbooks.
