Poems made to last.
Ink & Ribbon is a nonprofit poetry press on Bainbridge Island. We publish a few books a year in editions of 250, pay a $3,000 prize to a new voice, and have a few copies bound by hand.

The list.
We publish unified books, not assembled collections. If the poems could be shuffled, it is not our book.
The Lost Stations
Cara Waterfall
Grief and ecological loss, written along a railway that no longer runs. The title comes from the decommissioned rail stops along Toronto’s Beltline Trail, where the speaker once walked with her father. Three movements, in centos, contrapuntals and duplexes. A hand-numbered edition of 250.
“The flakes fall into our palms / so we can hold / this fugitive light.”
